Unfixed Deposits

The Unfixed Deposit Account from Mashreq is the first account of its type in the region.  It is one deposit made up of many internal units of EGP 1000. If you need funds for an emergency, you can choose the number of units that you require and these will be encashed and deposited to your account.  The balance of your account will continue to earn interest at the agreed rate.  The Unfixed Deposit combines attractive rates of interest with the flexibility to withdraw your money if you need it.

With the Unfixed Deposit from Mashreq you can

• Make investments starting at EGP 10,000 in Egyptian Pounds and US$ 2,000
• Get flexible time periods ranging from six months to three years
• Get higher interest rates with the flexibility to withdraw funds in units of EGP 1,000 or US$200 when needed. 
• The interest paid on early withdrawals will be 2% less than the regular rate
• Get an overdraft facility of up to 90% of the value of your EGP deposits
